School Uniform

What to wear in school
Our school uniform colours are navy blue, grey and pale blue. Uniform and PE kit can be purchased from Whittakers online and delivered to your door, or parents can visit the shop located in Bolton. Please follow the link below to order online:

The school uniform consists of:
Our uniform:
- Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan (badged or non-badged)
- Grey or black trousers, skirts, or knee length shorts (can be purchased widely)
- Pale blue polo shirt (can be purchased widely)
- All black footwear (shoes, boots or trainers) with no coloured logos or markings (can be purchased widely). No other style or colour of shoe is accepted.
- Blue/white check dresses (may be worn in warmer weather)
- Socks (matching and grey, black, blue or white)
- Grey, black or navy-blue (or white if paired with blue/white check dress) tights or leggings can be worn under a skirt/dress (can be purchased widely). Leggings cannot be worn without a skirt/dress unless it is a PE day.
- Book bag (badged or non-badged) for the purpose of keeping loaned reading books in good condition
- Plain black, navy blue or grey hijab (should be one colour and plain, and can be purchased widely)

The PE kit consists of:
PE KIT:
Children from Year 2 upwards (Year 2/3/4/5/6) wear their PE kit to school on days that they have PE. Children in Reception and Year 1 wear uniform to school and change into their PE kit in their classroom on PE days (though Reception do not participate in PE until later in the academic year).
Pre-school and Nursery do not participate in PE and do not need a PE kit.
- White short/long sleeve T-shirt (can be purchased widely)
- Navy blue shorts (can be purchased widely)
- Black pumps for indoor PE (can be purchased widely) that are labelled, brought in a labelled drawstring bag and stored in school (all classes).
- Plain navy blue tracksuit (joggers/leggings and hoodie) with no visible logos (badged and non- badged both acceptable, and can be purchased widely)
- All-black trainers (can be purchased widely)
- All PE kit brought into school in Reception and Year 1 should be labelled with the child’s name and stored in a drawstring bag, including pumps.
SWIMMING
All items can be purchased widely:
- Swimming trunks or one-piece costume (not a bikini)
- Swimming cap for pupils with long hair
- Large towel
- Goggles (optional)
A one-piece sports hijab (plain black, navy blue or grey, and should be one colour and plain) that does not slip or require tying and is made from flexible, breathable fabric may be changed into for PE lessons. Pupils then change back into their usual hijab after the PE lesson.
It is really important that all articles of school uniform and PE clothing are clearly marked or labelled with your child’s name; it makes tracing lost garments much easier!
We strongly recommend that jewellery is not worn at school at all.
